Southend-on-Sea Gallery
Over the years I have explored Southend-on-Sea extensively and more recently have noticed "my Southend" disappearing under the building site/car park that is today's Southend.
This gallery is an attempt to show Southend through my eyes and reveal parts that would normally be hidden from the casual observer. You're unlikely to find the glossed-up images that are paraded in Southend Council's tourism brochures although sometimes these two opposites do meet.
The purpose of this gallery is to show that there is some good in Southend and to preserve some of the better parts before they're irrevocably lost.
