This page showcases (if that's the right word) my primitive attempts at Flash animation,
games and interactivity.
Have a look and maybe you can avoid some of the obvious mistakes I have made.
I have redesigned the Southend Gallery pages and have created a new
flash interface for the photos.
I will be adding some new photos soon but in the meantime let me know what
you think of the new look.
This is the original Flash movie of the 29-second advert that I entered for the Doritos
competition, "You Make It, We Play It".
Look at the Flash movie first (much better quality) -
Eat Them Before They Eat You.
Then go and rate my advert on YouTube
(with much worse quality because YouTube don't let you upload Flash files).
This is an example of my experimentation with Flash's functions to increase and decrease
circle sizes, rotating circles and changing circle colours.
I have also included the full code and original flash file -
Rainbow Circles.
My wife, though beautiful, has dubious musical tastes. She recently surpassed herself because she
couldn't get the children's nursery rhyme, Wiggly Woo, out of her head.
To add to her frustration I devised this quick and dirty flash movie -
Wiggly Woo.
Neither the graphics or the code are very elegant but is nevertheless a simple demonstrartion
of using time delays, if/then/else/end if constructs and movieclip properties in Flash.
The third game from Black Spot Games has been released -
Times Table Tumble.
It's an educational but fun times table game with three different play modes.

The second game from Black Spot Games has been released -
Anglo-Saxon Hangman.
It's an Anglo-Saxon version of Hangman and is even educational! The current version is a
beta release but the final version will be available within 2 weeks.

I've completed my first (rather primitive) Flash game -
Skulls and Crossbones.
It's a pirate-themed variation of Noughts and Crosses (or Tic-Tac-Toe if you like) and is the
first production from Black Spot Games.
